As the fastest speeded race of Winter Olympic Games, sled and bobsleigh races are called as Formula 1 of ice & snow sports. National Sliding Center has the only sled & bobsleigh race track in China, with a track length of 1,975 meters and 16 turns, including a super-scale 360-degreen spiral turn, allowing for a maximum speed of 135km/h and a maximum acceleration of 4.9g. The design team has independently developed a terrain & climate protection system, integrated molding technologies for tracks, sprayed concrete technologies and a pre-fabricated steel-timber structure canopy with a maximum overhang length of 12.65 meters, allowing the dragon-shaped venue to wind freely among the trees in the mountains.
