The design masses a relatively small stand on the waterfront to allow views from the main stand to the river. It features interactive displays of human activities and natural environment. With a span more than 250m, the steel truss supporting the main canopy creates a signature identity of the site. Since most of the concrete volume is hided under grass slop, the white canopy, inspired by the sailing ships on Yangzi River, figures a poetic image in the nature.
