Humanity Academe assembled the most famous and important humanities of Peking University, Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Department of History and Department of Philosophy. Situated on the northeast of Weiming Lake, the protection zone of several traditional Chinese gardens, it employed a planning focused on restoring a sense of wholeness to the campus’s original layout. The Humanity Academe’s massing and exterior were designed in a language sympathetic to the traditional Chinese vocabulary, while featuring functional quality.
